Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how MusclePath ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the MusclePath app. By using MusclePath, you agree to the practices described here.
We designed MusclePath to collect as little as possible: your training data belongs to you, and we only use it to power the features you see.
Information we collect
- Device data: MusclePath works without an account. Your training data is stored on your device and, when you are online, backed up to our cloud under an anonymous backup code that only you hold. We do not collect your name or email address unless you contact support.
- Training content you create: workouts, session logs, goals, coach plans, and athlete profile details.
- Usage analytics: anonymous, aggregated events such as sessions started and workouts logged, used to understand which features help people train.
How we use your information
- To back up your training data so it survives a lost or broken device, and to power the AI coach plans you request.
- To personalize AI coach plans using the goals, preferences, and history you share with us.
- To improve MusclePath: fix bugs, refine features, and decide what to build next.
- To respond when you contact support.
Storage and sharing
Your data is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure and is transmitted over encrypted connections. We never sell your personal information.
We do not share your data with third parties except the minimal service providers needed to run the app (for example, hosting, authentication, and email delivery), each bound by their own confidentiality obligations.
Your rights and data deletion
You can ask us to permanently delete your cloud backup at any time. Write to support@musclepath.app and we will process your request, typically within 30 days.
Deleting the app from your device removes your local data; cloud backups are removed on request through support.
Children
MusclePath is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app, and the "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
